Gulen Kommune, Norway

Gulen municipality is the political and administrative body providing public services to the inhabitants of Gulen.

Gulen is situated at the mouth of Sognefjord in Norway – the longest and deepest fjord in the world. The 2300 inhabitants of this 596 km2 community live spread across a coastal landscape of 1500 isles at the west coast of Norway.

Gulen is home to Gulatinget, the oldest and largest regional thing site in medieval Norway. In 2005 Gulatinget Millennium Park was opened in Flolid to commemorate its legacy.
