A new book, telling the story of Gulatinget and the Gulatinget law code during the Viking period and early medieval times, has just has been published.

Gulatinget BookZoom The book also acts as a guide to the cultural history of the two Thing sites in Sogn og Fjordane County, Norway - Eivindvik and Flolid.

The author is Siri Ingvaldsen, THING Project coordinator, who works for Haugland International RD Centre and is also engaged at Agder University Norway.

At present there is only the Norwegian version available, but it is hoped that a version with English text will be available soon.
